Boker tov and shavua tov. The first thing we should do to clarify our perspective for the week, and for the weeks to come, is to read Remembering Yafit by Barbara Sofer, in the Jerusalem Post. This story is what my blog is all about: the continuing Arab war on Israel, on Jews, and how it affects us. Yes, us --because Yafit could be me, only she was there in the Land of Israel, and I'm not. yet.

This blog is dedicated l'chayim, to life, to the children of Israel, like Shai and Chen Harenstein, who have to live without their mother, and who have to live knowing that death came so close to them that "one bullet pierced the baby's pacifier."
