Israel is singled out for ambiguity
The BBC has online "Country Profiles," with overview, facts, leaders, media, etc. Under "facts," all the other countries manage to have a "capital," but Israel alone does not. What Israel has is a "seat of government." Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself.

And the BBC is not the only one to question Israel's sovereignty in Jerusalem. Read about the US State Department's lack of recognition of Jerusalem -- as part of Israel -- in David Bedein's May 12 opinion piece at Arutz Sheva: "Where is Jerusalem?"

"Four of our six children were born in Misgav Ladach hospital, in west Jerusalem. They hold US passports which state "Jerusalem", with no country."
