One-Way Road Map

Israel's Maj. Gen. Amos Gilad met today with the Palestinian Security Minister, Mohammad Dahlan.

News is, Dahlan listed the following conditions for the PA assuming security responsibilities in Gaza:

* Israel stops targeted killings.
* Israel ceases all military operations within the territory.
* Israel allows freedom of movement between northern and southern Gaza.
* Israel opens the Rafiah checkpoint 24 hours a day.
* Israel refurbishes Gaza Airport.

Reports say nothing about whether the PA will stop its killings or military operations, or whether the Arabs will allow freedom of movement for Israelis, such as that on public transportation. And why don't they refurbish their own damn airports? The employment might get some of those tens of thousands of incessantly marching young men off the streets (see "Monday Morning in Gaza" below). Just a thought.
