The nightmare continues: Israeli cabinet votes 14-9 to release 100 HAMAS terrorists from prison

It's important that Sharon not go "limping into Washington." --Minister Dan Naveh
Arutz Sheva reports that Ministers Netanyahu(!), Livny and Naveh, who had been wavering, voted in favor of the release of 100 HAMAS terrorists. If they had wavered in the other direction, the vote would have been 12-11, against.

According to Arutz Sheva, Defense Minister Sha'ul Mofaz "clarified" afterwards that terrorists "with blood on their hands" will not be freed. How are they going to find 100 HAMAS prisoners without blood on their hands?

HAMAS issued this response minutes after the cabinet vote:
"WE DON'T WANT 100 HERE OR 100 THERE; WE DEMAND THE RELEASE OF *ALL* THE PALESTINIAN PRISONERS."

Meanwhile, Palestinian Authority officials "expressed deep satisfaction" with Abu Mazen's visit to Washington. The Jerusalem Post quotes one PA cabinet minister as saying, "The visit signals the opening of a new page in Palestinian-American relations . . . we expect American pressure to force Israel to comply."
