I dread monitoring the coverage of yesterday's bombings

Associated Press

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution catches my eye this morning. Their headline is "Deadly Jerusalem blast hurts chances for peace." It hurt people, it killed people. It blew up children. It's warped to have to insist that the media humanize the Jews.

The lead paragraph:
-- A suspected suicide bomber struck the heart of Jerusalem on Tuesday, detonating a metal-studded bomb aboard a city bus and doing damage to the Middle East peace process.
Damage to the Middle East peace process? How about damage to the lives of innocents? The Atlanta Journal-Constitution writers, Margaret Coker and Craig Nelson, maintain the dead Jews as numbers only. That seems eerily familiar.
