Introducing Scholars for Peace in the Middle East

Dear Friend,

Scholars for Peace in the Middle East would like to thank you for signing the Petition to Prosecute Those Who Perpetuate Suicide/Homicide Bombings Against Civilians as "War Criminals." This is one of our many projects to promote peace in the Middle East.

If you are a scholar, professional or student, we'd very much like to have you join us by going to www.spme.net/join.html and welcome you. Even if you are not a scholar, professional or student, you are welcome to become a member and certainly we would welcome your support at www.spme.net/donation.html where your name will be on the Honor Roll of Supporters.

Some of you may be interested or know of people who would be interested in attending SPME's Conference Mission to Israel, December 28, 2003-January 4, 2004 to meet with international, Israeli and Arab scholars, officials and experts to discuss the complex issues of the Middle East at university campuses. Details and an application are available here.

Scholars for Peace in the Middle East is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt (pending) educational charity with nearly 450 members at 200 academic and research institutions world wide working for the promotion of better understanding and resolution of the complex issues of the Middle East.

Please continue to support our important work and thank you again for giving your name to this important petition that we hope will save lives.
