The terrorist who perpetrated yesterday's attack was not from Nablus, as some had thought. His name, may it be erased, was Ra'ad Misak or Misek; he was a member of HAMAS and an Islamic cleric, an imam from Hebron. Perhaps it is because he was from Hebron that there was so much celebration there of the bombing.

A religious leader, he murdered at least four rabbis. Father of two, he murdered six -and wounded 40- Jewish children.

Five Americans were murdered in the attack, three of them children:

Rabbi Mordechai Reinitz, 47, and his 9-year-old son, Yitzchak, had dual Israeli-American citizenship.

Goldie Taubenfeld, 43, and her son Shmuel, who was only three months old, were both killed. They were from New Square, New York.

The fifth American victim was identified as Tehilla Nathanson, 3 years old, from Monsey, New York.

May their souls be bound up in the bond of eternal life, and may we be inspired to acts of charity and kindness to honor their memories.
