Meryl Yourish researches "Israel vs. the world"

Take a look at her report: from 1946-present, fully 15% of UN resolutions were in reference to Israel.

Israel doesn't have 15% of the world's land mass; that would be 8.5 million square miles. Israel has only 8,000. That's too small for my calculator to figure the percentage.

Israel doesn't have 15% of the world's population; that would be 975 million. Israel's population is only 6.3 million.

Israel doesn't have 15% of the world's natural resources; in fact, it has next to none.

So what does Israel have? nearly 40% of the world's Jews. That is, about 5 million Jews living in Israel, out of 13 million in the world (NB: that's down from 16.7 million in 1939). That's why the UN concentrates so much of its attention on Israel: it's because of the Joooooos!

Israeli settler Yossi Krakover walks carrying his sleeping daughter Maayan, 4, with his son Matanya, 12, in Netzarim settlement, inside the Gaza Strip, Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003. 'God promised this area to Israel,' said Yossi, 35, who has lived there for 12 years. Moderates in Israel's Cabinet on Sunday called for the evacuation of this Jewish settlement in the heart of Gaza, which relies on an entire army battalion for protection, after three soldiers were killed there by militants.
