Are you a COLORADO DEMOCRAT?

IF SO, THIS NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!
A Boulder organization called Common Security wants to "help shape the Democratic message" into a "wiser approach to the world." They have proposed caucus resolutions which they intend to submit to the Colorado Democratic Party Platform Committee.

If you are a COLORADO DEMOCRAT, you can rank and give feedback on eight proposed resolutions but only until 4/9/04.
#1, "A Comprehensive Resolution," calls for a "truly even-handed approach to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

#5, "Israel and Palestine," holds that the U.S. should support the "Clinton parameters" . . . "As well, the United States should employ its full diplomatic and economic influence to encourage Israel to abandon Jewish settlements . . . cease military incursions . . . and negotiate with the Palestinian leadership a two-state solution."

Click on "Detail & Comments" to read all the juicy whereases. According to these people, Sharon needs to "commit in earnest to a two-state solution" (no responsibilities accrue to the Palestinians), the Geneva Accord provides a model of how a solution could be negotiated, and a "perceived American bias toward Israel" is not only "foremost among Muslim concerns," but also causes "intense anti-American emotions."
Of course there is no mention of Jewish concerns (existential or otherwise), of Palestinian terrorist attacks or the charters of terrorist organizations calling for the destruction of Israel, no revulsion over suicide bombings, no moral indignation about Palestinian involvement of children in warfare, yadda yadda yadda.
PLEASE TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE YOUR SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL.

THIS LINK will take you to the page where you can rank and respond to the draft resolutions, "as to whether you want them included in your County, Colorado and National Democratic Platforms."

Many thanks to Mimi for finding this and urging our participation.

For readers who are not Democrats: Deliver us from Democrats by Ann Coulter:
Sean Hannity's latest book, Deliver Us From Evil, is even better than his last. It hit No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list the week it came out and stayed there for at least five weeks. This explains the huge cover story on Hannity in the latest New York Times magazine, as well as that big NPR profile on him – wait, neither of those happened. Indeed, not a single major mainstream newspaper has reviewed it.
