Powell warns against "bantustan solution" for "Palestinian state"

US Secretary of State Colin Powell warned against
what he described as a 'bantustan' solution of the
Palestinian problem, insisting that the West Bank
portion of a future Palestinian state should be
contiguous.

Did I miss something? Did the Arabs make some move toward peace? Did Arafat expire? Why are we talking about their "state" again?

Oh, I get it, the dream state, handed to them on an international silver platter, with contiguity intact, in exchange for no efforts or concessions on their part, will inspire them to stop killing the Jews in their midst.

Sounds like a stupid plan to me.
