The Palis got a country!

Children watch as Palestinian swimmer Raad Aweisat jumps into a swimming pool for training in east Jerusalem Thursday Jan. 8, 2004. Massive nylon sheets surround the pool from all sides keeping in the heat, but the room has no ventillation and the smell of chlorine soaks the steam-filled pool hall. Aweisat, 17, is training for the 2004 summer Olympics in Athens, Greece and plans to compete in the 100 meter Butterfly event, being the first Palestinian to represent his country in an Olympic swimming event. If they have a country, does that mean "the occupation" is over? And by the way, whose country did they get a country in?
